We are looking for a Virtual Account Manager (Inside Sales) to join alongside our 100+ strong family team, and work in tandem with our Account Managers to generate new sales and renewals, with the most complete solution sales offerings available in Canada. Working closely with the likes of Juniper, Cisco, Extreme, Nutanix, and Tintri, and our in house highly certified, highly respected team of engineers and specialists, your job will be to support Account Managers in day to day sales and customer activities, to provide the best business and technology solutions for customers across the country and around the world.
About the role:
Manage and qualify inbound sales requests/calls.
Support assigned Account Managers on the development of sales quotes, sales orders and proposals on a timely basis, including RFP bid or response pricing.
Diligently track stock levels for product availability; promptly obtain information and data from Manufacturers and Distributors regarding orders, as required.
Handle delivery and order escalations via established processes; follow-up on order management process from entry to delivery, and estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of delivery schedules.
Develop a solid understanding of our service and product offerings to enable productive discussions with potential and current customers.
Successfully manage and maintain specifically assigned accounts.
Work with Account Managers to keep account activities and information up to date, including accurately managing and maintaining customer information.
Demonstrate a high level of cross company teamwork in all activities.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
About you:
You have a university degree, preferably in a business discipline such as marketing or sales; and/or equivalent work experience with inside sales and B2B selling. Experience in a customer service role would be an asset.
You have a love for technology and understanding of networking technology (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.).
You are passionate about sales and building positive relationships with customers, utilizing your outstanding interpersonal skills.
You have proven time management and organizational skills.
You?re a flexible and resilient problem solver, particularly in managing customer accounts.
You?re an exceptional and adaptable communicator, both verbally and in written communications.
You work effectively and cooperatively with Account Managers, logistics, order administration and technical teams.
You?re a self-starter, independent worker, intelligent and driven to succeed.
You are proficient with MS Office, and tech savvy to learn other tools quickly; familiarity with any CRM system is a bonus.
You?re legally authorized to work in Canada.
